Volodymyr Lytvyn, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has critically evaluated the Idea on the Implementation of Two-Chamber Parliament in Ukraine
"It is an idee fixe of many country leaders. It has logical explanation it is not going to take into the consideration all the national peculiarities and traditions of Ukraine but it forms the filter that will make them feel more comfortable in relations with the highest representative body of the people", - V. Lytvyn declared in interview.
He deems if this motion is implemented, the upper chamber will become "so-called protecting place of the Ukraine oligarchs, so-called paradise group in order to have inviolability".
